Improve services to patients, carers and service users through inclusive, more effective leadership
The East Midlands Leadership Academy (EMLA) works with colleagues across the country as part of the NHS Leadership Academy network. Serving the East Midlands' Leadership community, our expert team offers development opportunities for health and social care staff aligned to the four national priority areas; Talent Management, Inclusion, Systems Leadership and Leadership and Organisational Development.
Since its launch in 2009, EMLA has a growing reputation for developing individuals, teams, organisations and most recently has played a pivotal role in supporting systems, bringing together organisations and leaders to work on the pressing issues of integration.
Working with some of the leading names in leadership development, EMLA also offers bespoke opportunities which can be delivered 'in place' For more information on this contact Rachel Blunt.

Coaching is often perceived as the single most effective development intervention that a leader in the NHS can access. EMLA works with a pool of qualified coaches and delivers the EMCC programme to ensure that the pool continues to grow.
