About the Day

This is a day designed to explore your leadership and your relationship to fairness and bias.

Learning about unconscious bias has the potential to transform the way you manage diverse teams, recruit staff and engage with patients. It can also help you to develop who you are as a leader and how others might see and respond to you.

The day will be participative, reflective, challenging and fund. Those in attendance need to be prepared to hold honest conversations with themselves and with others.

Objectives
  • Help you to recognise how unconscious bias and discrimination 'survive' within your oragnsations
  • Help you to become more aware of how your leadership can disrupt and challenge discriminatory processes and behaviours
  • Help you to hold youself to account and support others to walk this journey with you
