Quality Assurance of Coaches across East Midlands Leadership Academy
Monday, 16th September, 2019 1:30pm to 4:30pm
We care deeply about the quality of coaching provided across the Health & Social Care sector and we understand that great coaching is a key enabler of great leadership in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world. In our privileged role as coaches it is more important than ever before to demonstrate the highest levels of quality and competence so the people we serve can deliver the best outcomes for their patients, their teams and their wider communities. Organisations and coaching networks understandably require reassurance that those supplying executive coaching services are competent, ethical and professional in their approach and can demonstrate they are investing in their own and the profession’s growth and development.
Our Quality Assurance Approach
Our approach will provide reassurance to East Midlands Leadership Academy that all coaches who facilitate the development of leaders up to Board level are working in an ethical manner with a focus on organizational return on investment. We use the European Mentoring and Coaching Council competencies see below. More information on the competencies can be found here
Our quality assurance process will use the 8 EMCC competencies to assess, in a number of ways, the level and quality of the executive coaches and details of the assessment methods are listed below.
