An Introduction to Team Coaching
Monday, 21st October, 2019 9:00am to 4:30pm
This workshop is now full. Further registrations will be for the waiting list only.
About the Day
Effective teamwork lies at the heart of patient care, whether on the wards, in the operating theatre or in a GP practice. Just as individuals can be helped to become more effective by coaching, so team coaching can make a radical difference to team performance. The difference is that team coaching is far more complex and requires a much higher level of insight into the systems that affect the team and its members. Helping the team to understand its own dynamics allows it to make better choices and radical improvements in how its members collaborate.
In this intensive one day event, Professor David Clutterbuck condenses many years of research into global good practice to inform both beginner and experienced team coaches. At the end of the workshop, you will have:
- A deeper insight into the drivers and barriers to team performance
- An understanding of how to prepare and carry out a team coaching assignment
- A toolkit of practical approaches for coaching teams
