General Managers Programme
Cohort 3 Application Window Now Open
The East Midlands Leadership Academy is pleased to announce details of Cohort 3 of the General Managers Programme.
The Programme is designed to help support those who are new to or aspiring to general manager posts by enhancing their skills in the leadership areas it is felt general managers should excel in. Participants will also gain a better understanding of their current skill set and their development areas, along with a deeper awareness of the journey to become a top leader in the NHS.
The Programme is made up of a number of elements including: Coaching Sessions, Action Learning, Healthcare Leadership Model 360 feedback, Masterclasses and a Top Leader Q&A.
Masterclass topics will include:
- Strategic insight / commercial acumen
- Engagement and Motivation
- Creating your own culture within a team
Key Programme Dates
The Programme is made up of 8 dates and those wishing to take part in the Programme must be available for all of these dates.
Day 1 – 28th June 2018 – Imago, Loughborough
Day 2 – 9th July 2018 – Trent Vineyard Conference Centre, Nottingham
Day 3 – 25th July 2018 – Trent Vineyard Conference Centre, Nottingham
Day 4 – 9th August 2018 – Imago, Loughborough
Day 5 – 23rd August 2018 – Trent Vineyard Conference Centre
Day 6 – 6th September 2018 – Imago, Loughborough
Day 7 – 17th September 2018 – Trent Vineyard Conference Centre
Day 8 – 10th October 2018 – Trent Vineyard Conference Centre
(Please note there may also be some Programme work that delegates will be expected to complete in their own time outside of these Programme days)

All colleagues who are either new to or aspiring to a general manager’s post..
